Parrott had surgery over the summer & is only back in training a week. He'll be spending the next month+ getting his fitness up to speed.

Beyond that, Excelsior had a man sent off on 56', which is likely the reason Parrott didn't get on.

I meant more the wider picture - Ferguson is doing the things we thought a few years ago that Parrott might be doing by now. I'd say this time four years ago not many on here would have said that by autumn 2023 Parrott would be trying to kickstart his career at the third biggest club in Rotterdam.

Got 20mins off the bench today at home to Almere City. 4 mins, Zero mins and 20 mins in the last 3 games for Excelsior.

Regardless of what he does or doesn’t do in his private life he’s simply not good enough. 

He's 21 and has 20 odd caps and 4 international goals. He may not improve, but it's a bit early to be writing him off! I'm far from his biggest fan btw, but seriously!
