No but there has been no real chances either. Quality is very poor. Millwall's right back looks their best player. Plays like Lamptey at Brighton. Looks decent.

Gone off after 77 mins. Not so much as a chance or a hint of a chance. Hardly touched the ball all game.

I didn’t see him tonight lads but following from what I see being said on a high profile Irish football Twitter account he played some real high quality stuff?
Cant judge as again didn’t see it but the reaction on here is a fair bit more pessimistic then the reaction on Twitter? genuinely curious what did ye see that ye think different?

I watched the game and he played well in a mediocre Millwall team.
Showed good touches and passes when he did get on it. We screamed for players going on loan to the Championship and this is what it looks like. I think it will still serve him well tho. |

I dont know what game these guys saw. Very poor game. Id say if he got 5 touches that was it. Not necessarily his fault. If i was scouting the game from a neutral point of view his name would not appear on my page. Had no impact on this particular game.

Oh agreed its Millwall like. From what I see on his debut he did some fabulous stuff as regards linking play and holding the ball up isolated. He may be caught doing a lot of dirty work but that will be a huge education for him and will make him a far more rounded player going forward.
He’s not 19 until the spring it’s easy to forget too I doubt there are too many if any 18 year old attackers playing regular Championship football atm Harvey Elliott of course being one.

It was a bit like watching Ireland games, he not going to have many chances anyway cause Millwall are not going to create much by the looks of them. Hopefully they persist with starting him and the goals will come soon.

I assume the terms of the loan stipulate x number of games.

I dont know for sure but i would doubt it. If the player turns out to be sh1te i doubt there is a rule they have to play a certain amount of games.
