Pat O'Sullivan is absolutely delusional, judging by his statement at the courts on Monday; surely the players who hadn't been paid or had the necessary insurance cover can feel more aggrieved

After thanking his legal team he added that he had “many concerns regarding how our club has been treated since mid-2018. I do feel there has been a coordinated effort to destabilise our club, for reasons unknown to me. I am taking advice as to what options are available to the club.”

Surely the players and management who hadn't been paid or had the necessary insurance cover can feel more aggrieved than you Pat.

Dreadful last night. Slow passing, couldn’t cross, just lobbing the ball up to Red when the two UCD centre half’s won absolutely everything. Missed glorious chance when 1 down but UCD well worth their win - they were actually better than I thought.

Having said that a fantastic achievement this season to make the playoffs. And was brilliant to see a good crowd there last night too.

Disappointing for sure, Dec, but, as you say, no one would have expected them to make the playoffs at the start of the season, given how late in the day the squad was assembled etc. Huge crowd last night indicates the interest that's there.

Great to hear of a large crowd at the game, just shows the potential. Hopefully you can kick on next season and challenge for promotion. The league needs a team from Limerick in it, and also from Cork and Galway.

What a win for the mighty Treaty! 4-1 v UCD in FAI Cup quarter.

When is the draw for the semi's and what are the dates?

Massive credit to Tommy Barrett for tonight. A new club, with young and low paid players drafted in to form a relatively successful League of Ireland team, who have made it through to the last 4 of the FAI Cup!!

I really don’t see how investment firms see Irish football as an attractive option for their money. Clubs running a profit is the exception

It never ever works. People fall for it every year. You can't be good at investing when you pick an Irish club. It's a 100% guaranteed loss.

It's not as if there are a load of lads going over to the UK and beyond that are proving a huge success. Evan ferguson  is a bit of a rarity  most of the lads end up down with the lower teams .
