Kerrea Gilbert. Reyaad Pieterse. Conor Powell

Good point on them 3, but name me a manager who hasnt signed as many duds than successful players?
Who is saying otherwise. Premenstrual said he would be surprised if Kenny spent money on him without knowing full something we don't. I pointed out that he has signed expensive duds before.

I think this is one of those self fulfilling things. Kenny wanted him, the price was too much for the club and now he was landed for a relative bargain.

I didn't, how you interpret things is very fanciful, I like it! I said he wouldn't splash cash on him if he was useless.
OK, then you are just wrong. Spock has spend big bucks on total duds. Even at Dundalk. Clifford springs to mind.

Again, I never said he hadn't! It is all quite simple, what I effectively said was; he must be better than I think if Kenny and Dundalk want him so badly.
He could turn out to be a complete dud and it wouldn't make that sentence wrong!

The point is that despite what premenstrual says Kenny, like most managers, has spunked money on sub par players. Far too early to say with Connnoly yet but that's the same fee Drogheda paid for Fahey in his prime. In context the record inter club fee was £50,000 plus Harris for Molloy in 2000 who had a far better cv at that point.

So basically you have no idea what "big bucks" was or was not spent. Why bother even saying it then

In a league where 99.9% of transfers involve no fee, a fiver would count as big bucks.

Sadlier to Cork City looks a done deal.

By all accounts its over the line.

Be interesting to see the length of the contract. Hopefully its 2 and a half years.
