I don't get the fuss tbh, it's been the same every season for a while now.

It's pretty common knowledge that Spurs don't start their season til November, Kane has never scored more than 5 before then but finishes on 20+ with ease and I bet as a team their win record is terrible between August and October - but that's why they're not winning titles, if they started the season in August and not in November they'd already have 2 titles to their name.

Their overall record at Wembley is a major cause for concern however. 16% win-rate there actually since it was re-developed

The main reason Spurs are not winning titles is because they have the 6th highest wage bill in the EPL. They are boxing way above their weight as it is finishing in the top 4.
To suggest it's to do with a certain month(s) is pretty stupid in fairness.

This season will be a struggle for them. 19 away games and 19 at Wembley which is neutral for both teams really.

How on earth does wage bills have any relevance to their position? ConfusedLOL

If we're judging teams by wage bills then Newcastle and Sunderland should be solidified Premier League teams on the brink of qualifying for Europe.
The only thing it proves is how stupid immense value Spurs are getting out of their investments, nothing else..

Whereas 'certain months' has alot of relevance, if Kane and Spurs actually begun their seasons in August like everyone else did then they wouldn't be challenging in November with a 10-15 point handicap on the other challengers, it's a simple solution to a simple problem really. It's a 38 game season not a 30 game season.

Can't win the league because they don't have the biggest wage bill, you couldn't make up such utter sh*te

Are you actually being serious?
Besides Leicester, every team to win the EPL had either or the 1st or 2nd highest wage bill in the league.
Read soccernomics for the statistical proof across all the top leagues in Europe. Wage bill and league position are highly correlated.

So Spurs can't win the league because they don't pay their players enough?

If that's the case then why can't they beat Burnley at home when their wage bill is roughly 4 times that of Burnley?

Can they not just walk on the pitch and go here Burnley lads, we earn more than you, know your place.

offer accepted for llorente. spurs stealing him from Chelsea, would be a great coup! better option than janssen, and would be a solid plan B, especially with a delivery like eriksen and trippier

Good signing for Spurs IMO.

He scored 15 goals last season and had an okay record in la liga. He will fill the gap and Kane cant start every game.

Its not good news for Jansen.

You'd expect Madrid to tear them a new one if they played like that.

Good win for Spurs. Important to get 3 points tonight.

Fantastic stuff from Spurs Clap

Lucky with the Dortmund disallowed equalizer decision and even for their second goal, it looked like Kane may have pulled your man down. He also may have exaggerated it though.

Spurs will take that good fortune as they might get screwed with Madrid's antics
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
