Spurs are the one side who could really do with winning a cup, i think it could kick them on even further. Yet more than likely this season they'll have won nothing.

From a players perspective is it better coming 2nd instead of winning the fa cup and league cup? I don't think so. Maybe from the boards financial perspective it is.

Spurs dominating palace tonight but cant break them down (they have 11 men behind the ball and are the home team).

You can't fault big Sam's approach as they have won 7/8 but they play horrible negative football.
Did somebody suggest he be Irelands next manager?  No thanks

To be fair, Spurs kept the run going but always let you down when you think they might have an outside hope of catching Chelsea. It's also a great achievement if they finish above United/City given the resources.

How's Oz going?

There are two certainties in life:

Football managers will get sacked and

The next time Spurs drop points, Dinny will be on here saying they bottled it.

Spurs are definitely the Mayo of the EPL.

Best chance in years to win the league and you could just see them bottling it at home to West Brom. There was a tense atmosphere even when they went ahead.

I'd love to see Mayo win the All-Ireland and Spurs to win the league but they always let you down.

I think United will get at least a draw when they meet.

How do you come to that conclusion Confused

I don't know how a team could "bottle" the league when the side in first had topped the table from January 2016?

They finished 11 points off Leicester last season in what was their best ever PL finish of 3rd and are currently on course to finish in their highest ever position of 2nd this season with the possibility of still winning the title.....

Spurs v Arsenal at the Lane is a big test as to where this Spurs team is at the moment.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Their last 2 home games are against Arsenal and Man U.

I cant see Arsenal or Man U beating Spurs at home so should finish the season unbeaten at the Lane.

A difficult transition but with a young team , a bench that gives game winning alternatives & an excellent manager I see no reason for pessimism.
