Saw a tweet about Ebosele being the fastest player in Serie A during the week. Not sure if that's an officially timed thing like Ogbene's Premier League record or not though. Either way, the current fastest Premier League player and - at worst - one of the current fastest Serie A players are both Irish.

No offense to Mikey Johnston and he's been decent when given a chance, but maybe surprising that we haven't seen Obgene and Ebosele given a go either side of Ferguson at some point during the year. That setup with someone like Moran or Azaz behind them and two more defensive central midfielders sitting deeper protecting a back four seems like it might have decent potential for us next year.

From what I can see hes the first since Brady in '86 when Ascoli beat them 0-1! Brady with the assist.

Loads of others have played there for Celtic, United, Liverpool, Leeds etc.. over the years, but either they didn't win or they were an unused sub.


I'm assuming Robbie Keane doesn't count here? Only lads who didn't play for Inter or Milan?

Gave away a peno there. Blocked down a cross from Kvaratskelia but then caught the back of his leg when they both went after the breaking ball.

Didn’t see the game but going by reports he had a right good game. 

Udinese look set for a struggle this year. Have lost their best players and are really struggling for goals without Beto!
