Not that Bazunu has been perfect this season (21yo  keeper to be expected) but it’s almost as if Southampton have a problem that goes beyond their keepers.

they've been good defensively this season though. ranked 21st for expected goals conceded - 47.5. a fair bit worse than leeds who are the best on underlying numbrs at 37.2. GK has been a problem area for them no getting away from that. mccarthy has been long finished imo, looked brutal in his last PL season.

Both Bazunu and Kelleher are out of their respective teams and both of them go and lose their next two leagues games without them. Hon The Irish gypsy curse Clap Clap

It would damage this forums' reputation

He wasn't playing last night, he's out injured until 2025

Where are you seeing this?
Not sure if you're on the wind up but anyway, here you go:

Martin's style of play is risky. They create chances and score goals, but leave themselves vulnerable at the back.

His team's mentalities have always been we'll out score you. Think if Southampton get promoted they'll be relegated again.

Is McCarthy eligible? Call him up!
I will be in the bar
With my head on the bar
I am now a central part
Of your mind's landscape
Whether you care or do not

didn't see the second half but the whole team seems to be getting pelters. Manning in particular seemed to have a nightmare. From what I've read smallbone best of a bad lot

It's still Bazunu's fault somehow!

Awful news for Baz. As someone else mentioned, Southampton will have to go and get a new number 1 given the length of his injury.

There's a good chance he might not play a competitive game of football again until September next year. That's a full year and a half away
