Yeah always a nice little buzz before any draw is made no matter how the results are going. Hoping for a few favourable ties and nice destinations. Likely that away fans won’t be able to attend March away games but hopefully after that. Denmark away in March would be ideal in that no one would have to travel and best pot one team to get.

I'd guess that, at the very least, RTÉ News Now would show it.

Is it only Sky showing the draw on Monday ? Can't see anything suggesting RTE or BBC are showing it

I’d like that and good for away trips -

A week in Malta with some sunshine would be deadly.

Yes, I went to Malta last January and was wearing tee shirt and shorts. Great place for sunshine.

https://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/ranking-table/men/#UEFA official update here. Something really weird though when I crunch into the numbers. Romania were awarded points for their "win" against Norway, but for Switzerland-Ukraine no points were given

Yes Malta aren't bad. Would be nice to get them as my brother lives there. But I think they'd have a good chance of beating us. Some good teams in pot 5 too.

are you sure? According to this, we needed Romania not to beat the north, not necessarily a Northern Ireland win

So would we have qualified if we beat Bulgaria at home? From what I read in the build up was that if NI didn't win we wouldn't qualify regardless. But some analysis afterwards says the opposite.

Qualified for what?

Do you mean we.would have been seeded 2nd for the WC qualifying?

Yeah pretty obvious that’s what he means ffs
