In the Shawshank Redemption Red is released from prison.  He has been in there 40 years.  As he leaves prison he is wearing a suit.  Where did he get that from?

Out with covid so watching any crap on tv at home.  The Next Karate Kid was on E4 earlier.  Miyagi brings Hillary Swank to a monastery whereby she goes to squish a cockroach with her shoe and kill it.  Before she does a monk grabs her to prevent her harming any of natures creatures.  She is then shunned by miyagi and the monks for having a lack of respect for all living creatures.  Only when she repents and saves a cricket that she is forgiven.

Not really a plot hole but, Watching Commando at the moment, the opening scenes where Arnies team are killed isn't really needed in the film, take out a throw away line from the Colonel who shows up at his house even that scene could be taken out and just start with his daughter getting kidnapped it would be the same film

Not sure about that but say he did, where did he get all the fake documents.  In America you need a social security number and they run a background check on you.
The checks would be fairly limited in the mid 1940s

The big problem with films is that that events are generally shown in time-lapse, are generally in two dimensions, and, completely unlike real life, have a soundtrack, suggestive of the emotional situation represented on screen, (wholly unrealistic).

It's almost as if it's all only for people's entertainment.

Here's another wan from the movie.  Larusso and Silver are in the Cobra Kai dojo on their last training session where Daniel breaks the wooden man to bits and Silver says he is ready.

To celebrate Daniel and his latest bit of crumpet hit the niteclub to celebrate whereby Silver turns up and pays some goon to hit on his woman.  Daniel subsequently floors the guy and flees the scene with Terrence Silver.

Daniel goes home and Miyagi confronts him and Daniel realises he has had a change of heart about training with Silver and goes to the crumpets house and then on to the Silvers dojo late at night where he finds Silver dressed up in his karate costume.  Seriously, Who goes back to the dojo after a niteclub?  Why would it be open at that hour?
