Israel are in because they were lucky enough to be in Russia's group and the latter 3 are in because they are League C teams. We actually needed Kenny to do worse in Nations League rather than better LOL

It does show the importance of individual results though. If we had even drawn away in Armenia rather than lost we'd have a playoff away to Israel tonight.

No we would have been pulling out in protest because of situation in Gaza

Was like appointing a leaving cert maths student to run NASA's mission control.

What if he/she got 625 points? NASA would be lucky.

Nah. We will keep getting brutal qualifying groups if we don't improve our FIFA/UEFA ranking.

Sometimes you have to go where the money is. Moving up to Derry from Dublin would have been a transition from Dublin life. A year in Scotland in-between each Derry spell as well.

Is Eoin his oldest child?
He first went to Derry in his early 30s, not in his early 50s. Difference.

52 isn't that old in modern times. People work past 66 now in some cases.

If you had said Australia or The Middle East, maybe. But England is only across the road.

It all depends on the age of his children, really.

Jesus murph.  Did you say the same about Big Jack, MickMc Brian Kerr, Steve Staunton, Trap and MoN or is it just because you hate Stephen Kenny.  What bizarre logic.

Why would you move an Irish former national team manager to the ROTW section?

League 2 IMO. Steve Staunton only got the Darlington job when he left us and they were one of the worst teams in the division.

Don't remember that.

Kenny should go back as U21 gaffer or take an A-League job.

You don't remember Stan being the worst manager in history?

16% win rate at Darlington. 4 wins from 25 games.

He was also a scout at Sunderland in 2011 and gone by 2013.

With modern social media, we have more access to players, ex players and legends than ever. You quickly realise that most of them are actually thick as sh*t and can't actually explain why they were good at what they did. They were just good at it and that's that.
