The question only works when it is written down. If you ask it aloud, you have to mispronounce Villa (double L being basically silent in Spanish and all).

Apparently the man himself is out of intensive care and is talking again, which is a great sign. He's very lucky if that's accurate and let's hope he gets well soon.

Of course don’t know what I was thinking. Hoddle scored the only goal against QPR the following year. That’s a great question alright.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Spurs legend. Some man for the 50 yard pass. Crooks scored many’ a goal at the end of a Hoddle pass. Scored for both sides in 81 cup final.

Ok fair enough but the point stands, Robson wasnt going to play Barnes, Hoddle, Waddle in a midfield with Robson box to box too.

Incorrect.
Neil Webb started instead of Hoddle.

Also Trevor Steven was better than Waddle at that time.

How come England didn't start him against us into Stuttgart? Was he past his prime by then?

His daft beliefs aside, he always came across as a decent skin.

Hope he recovers
