He played well today, held the ball up well and linked up the play.

If he doesn't get any credit for scoring penalties, he can hardly take criticism for missing them!
We're decent enough..

Only one goal from 6! Should we be worried?

Rangers 1 down. The title is just getting exciting and they have Livingston and Motherwell on Sky. Bad timing to be showing a dud game like that.

Think I said 6-8 goals would be a decent return, maybe 16-18.

Cat defending mind.

A lot of that stems from the fact he was thrown in as the main central striker for the seniors when he was a ways off being ready.
Add to that the whole team was experimental at the start under Kenny and he was always going to struggle.

He's a valuable player now as a backup option to Ferguson.

I don't disagree, but I don't see Parrott or Idah living up to the hype from their days at U17/U18/U19 level.

They can still be useful players for us. A bit disappointing that neither will probably become PL level strikers.

Idah scored 20 goals from 28 caps at U17 level for Ireland. Parrott was a beast for Spurs at U18 level.

He did well yesterday, he was also fairly lively last week against Kilmarnock, all in all this looks so far like a great signing for celtic, if he hits 12 goals it's and exceptional loan period for him and he is capable of doing it. I have to say I was very pessimistic about this move, I didn't think he would be good enough although his performances  so far would suggest otherwise. He will play alot of football between now and may hopefully and please God it's a good thing for the national team.
