Rune and Sinner the next two youngsters likely to break through but neither anywhere close to the level of Alcaraz.

Sinner beat him handily enough in last years tournament but Alcaraz has obviously made massive improvements this year. Knowing he can come back from the verge of being embarrassed on the biggest stage will be huge for his belief too.

I was being sarcastic, Het Smile. I think his record would suggest that he's focussed on his tennis.

You were being sarcastic? Never would have guessed.

Not sure, I couldn't care less. Although I think when most talk about his political leanings, they're talking about him being outspoken on the Serb/Kosovo conflict.

For me that would be it. I really dislike the use of the Russian-Ukraine conflict to rehash the 1999 conflict. And Djokovic has been a willing shill.

First game of tennis i watched in a long time and i have to say the standards are freighting. Some of the shots were unreal, one where Djockovic slips while returning a shot and manages to get get back on his feet for the return! Fair play to Alacaraz seems like a decent fella and a worthy champion. Gonna be hard to see who can challenge him in the next few years if Djokovic fades away.
Del Boy: You do know what a pyscopath is dont you Grandad

Grandad: Of course i know what a Pyscopath is, its a fella who dresses up in womens clothes.

Djokovic is my favourite player of all time but would love to see Kyrgios at least win one Grandslam, all the sweeter if it’s Wimbledon.
