TV shows better than Movies

   After binge watching about 5 shows in the last couple of months i'm finding them more enjoyable than movies. 
There's just so much more story in them. 

Are TV shows the new big thing now that so many popular ones are being made?

	Yes definitely. There are so many top class shows there that can fulfill hours of your week. Of course appreciate a good movie but they are hard to come by these days and generally you watch it and get on with life until maybe they announce a sequel which you can look forward to. Whereas with a tv show you get more and more and can eat it all up until it's eventually finished and you move onto another show.

	There is more creativity and freedom of expression in TV shows. When TV shows are being created, everybody knows that it must be a good show otherwise it won't be watched or it may not even make it past the pilot. On TV they are looking for quality. The film industry may as well be the marketing industry. The people that make the films couldn't give a sh*t about how good the film is, it is all about formulating a motion picture that gets the most people on seats. Terminator Genisys pretty much summed up the state of the movie industry. They turned a 18+ adult sci-fi/horror into The Avengers. Even when you look at the Oscar winners for best film of recent years, there is very little there in terms of greatness. Lots of really good films but nothing of the level of greatness.
