Fixed your post.
For more perspective, 24 goals in the league under Ancelotti. 7 of these were scored in the first month. 17 goals in the other 49 games. LOL

You're right, I forgot that Ancelotti took over in December. Not September.

He scored a goal every 178 mins under Ancelotti, which is a great return for a midtable side. He scored 29 games from 60 games under Ancelotti. You can't complain about that level of return.

Everton would be comfortably top 10 with that iteration of DCL.

They'd be much higher in the table if they could be more clincial. They waste a lot of good chances.

Prime DCL is missed. They need to buy a ST in the summer. Beto isn't working out.

Prime DCL comes around as often as a total solar eclipse and it lasts about as long too

That's my point.

He's been riddled with injuries for 2-3 seasons. Lacking confidence in front of goal now as well.

He was a very good player under Ancelotti.

He was good for about 3 weeks at the start of the Ancelotti's second season

Yeah, just the 36 goals under Ancelotti. He was excellent.

Everton can confirm an Appeal Board has concluded that the points deduction imposed by an independent Premier League Commission in November be reduced from 10 points to six points, with immediate effect.

While the Club is still digesting the Appeal Board’s decision, we are satisfied our appeal has resulted in a reduction in the points sanction.

Everton manager Sean Dyche says the club hopes to hear the outcome of its appeal against a 10-point deduction "around the end of the month".

Everton appealed the Premier League's decision to dock them points for financial rule breaches in December.

"The guidelines that [the media] suggest, and we suggest, have been around the end of the month," said Dyche, whose side are currently fourth from bottom in the table.

"We will just have to wait and see."

Not looking good
Under rule changes coming in next season they wouldn’t have broken any rules LOL
And still nothing for City…….

But funnily enough next year's rules don't apply to the past!
City have already been charged for their breaches - Just takes time to put together a case for 115 charges compared to just 1 or 2.

Amazing how many people don’t get that

Twitter is awash with them atm. LOL

Surely not?

Could Everton receive a second points deduction?

Despite such vocal defence on Merseyside, seeking to achieve a successful appeal from the ten-point deduction, there have been reports of a fresh worry that Everton might have.

After all, Monday marks the time of the year when Premier League clubs’ accounts have been reviewed, and the verdicts distributed.

Given how vociferously their first punishment was received by the club and its unrelenting supporters, having protested in so many games with cards, banners, chants and even planes, another potential deduction would surely tip them over the edge.

Up there with Boly's red card last week as a candidate for the most laughable red card of the season.

It wasn't even a foul.
