Yeah. It's much better than the first. Should be on the RTE player.

Agreed. I actually thought S1 was pretty sh*te but it defo improved.

I finished “The Offer” last week. Reasonably entertaining true story retelling the making of The Godfather. I didn’t realise the extent of the mafias opposition to the book and the idea that it would be adapted into a movie. The first half of the season is good but it gets a bit boring and predictable thereafter. Worth a watch if you’ve nothing better on your list

Last stop Larrimah - Netflix

Two part real life crime “whodunnit” taking place in the absolute middle of nowhere in Oz.Larrimah has a population of 11 people until Irish man Paddy Moriarty goes missing on the way home from the local pub, which also serves as the store, hotel, post office etc making it population 10.

I’m just one episode in but loving this quirky offering. Will finish later.

So far 8/10

Ferry is a spin off of Undercover. Watched season 1 and liked it. We got stuck on season 2 though. Must give it a go again and then watch the spin off

I’ve been made to watch the new series of The Crown.

Being of an age where I saw all that Princess Diana stuff happen live, it just seems too normal for me. Like a documentary.

The Diana actress is very good though.

It’s reasonable to have a public and private persona and try to keep them separate.

I know it is heavily edited, and comes from her perspective, but Colleen comes across as a good mother from a good family, but living in a crazy world.

Star Wars and the Lord of the Rings I’d have up there with all time classics, especially at the time they came out.
Star Wars would probably feel a bit dated if you tried to watch it for the first time.

You missed out on a world of content not getting into Star Wars though between the movies, toys, video games, etc.

I’m the same with Marvel movie's, never got into them. Some friends go mental that I haven’t as if I am not living a normal life if I haven’t watched all the marvel.

I get mocked as I have never seen the matrix.

My view is that if the main topic of a film can’t possibly happen I am interested.  I like stuff that’s somewhat based on reality.

Goblins and ewoks and c3po can go and sh*te. Don’t get me started on Harry Potter sh*te.  The only real witch is the author.

The first Matrix was class when it came out, it was visually impressive and was an original plot that hadnt really been done before but the sequels were absolutely rubbish and now after all these years they've aged terribly.

The futuristic tech is late 90s Nokias, big beige 90s computers, phone boxes, the fashion is very late 90s/early 00s ...it doesnt look or feel futuristic at all and the CGI is looks like something from a Playstation game now. Youd make better effects on a laptop in your bedroom.

Its a hard watch now.
