Sound of Freedom - 8/10.

Had no expectations going in to this and the cast was relatively unknown but it was the best movie I’ve seen in a while.

Based on Tim Ballard and his work helping human trafficking victims. Very grim at times.
Jimmy Bullard - "Favorite band? Elastic."

I used to work in a shop in Dundrum and when you'd get a delivery you'd have to go down to the basement and you'd see the cinema popcorn being delivered in what looked like large refuse sacks. Left on the ground next to the bins and general mankyness. Turned me off the popcorn from there.

The IMC cinemas do butter too, there’s one in santry Tallaght and Dun Laoighre.

Tallaght changed to a Movies@

I used to love the butter popcorn out of Xtravision back in the day.

Yeah I went to Cineworld myself because I thought it was that format but it wasn’t. I think the IFI might have one?

Going to go odeon blanch imax for it next viewing, butter on the popcorn is key for me Big smile

Yeah I did at Liffey Valley. Highest qualities of production all round.

Has to be seen in the cinema.

Just on this, apparently there is no true imac screen in roi in 1.43:1 ratio. Mad that

Finally saw Oppenheimer yesterday. It's a masterpiece.

Nolan's use of dts over Dolby is a real winner. The sound engineering throughout is a triumph.

Murphy is superb, as is the ensemble cast.

I was engaged throughout, a story in two sections really. The use of black and white is very effective also.

It's one of the best films of the century for me.

There's a Rhino Loose in the City.

By day it terrorises the city. At night it hides out in a lock up.
