Always have a look at this on a Friday evening.  TOTP 1995 is on now.  Hard to believe that's 30 focking years ago almost.  Still looks modern to me anyway.

some bands/groups you hear you totally forgot existed.  Robson & JeromeDead
Pied Piper to: Baldrick, Brendan 88, 9Fingers, Borussia and more...

Just to love the chart shows back in those days, hoping that the song you like, maybe an Irish act, has made it to number 1. Remember being cheesed off when Robson n Jerome were topping the chart!

You'd miss having a wander in HMV and a gawk at TOTP.   The city centres are worse off without music shops.

G-Way city centre is pony these days.  All we have is coffee shops, pubs, the odd clothes shop, bookies, and woolen jumper shops to flog to tourists.

Back in the good old days you had music shops Zhivago/HMV/Golden Discs, TV/Video/HI-FI shops,  newsagents with tonnes of magazines, hardware shops, proper sports shops.

Tis all gone Ted.

Easons is sh*te now.  f**k all magazines, f**k all sports books.

Could spend ages in HMV back in the day whether it was flicking through the posters or listening to a load of different tunes on the cd players they had hanging on the walls.

This has been a guilty pleasure of mine since lockdowns. Been recording them since the 1990 episodes and watching a good few episodes at a time with a few cans😂 have listened to a good bit of music from the era on Spotify as a result! Must catch up though, I'm still back in August 1994😂
