Has done a fantastic job at Palace it must be said.  Could have easily turned it down looking at the position Palace were in when he took over and also the fact that he has never been relegated in his managerial career.  Has completely turned the club around.  Fantastic job.

a brilliant manager tactically. Has a brilliant job at palace, before he took over they were 1/70 to go down on betfair. Id say some lads lost their boliix.

If Liverpool weren't having the season they are having then his only competition for Manager of the Year would be Martinez I reckon. Has worked wonders at Palace since he came in this season.

He took a low salary with a £1m bonus if he kept them up, well deserved.

This never comes across though from the media, "experts", etc.  His Stoke team were criticised time and time again for his tactics but they were effective.  I personally think he is top class tactically and knows how to stifle the big teams.  Stoke fans were mad to want rid of him last summer.

He also gets the best out of players who have been journeymen of troublemakers.  Pennant, Etherington, Walters in the past and now the likes of Puncheon at Palace.

I read an interesting interview from Pulis a couple of weeks back where he said of all the people he asked for advise when he was offered the Palace job only Peter Coates and SAF told him to take the job.

The wink would suggest that it was a joke.
