LOL What aspects of it do you not understand?

Its just really a thread to name things that you don't like. As I'm sure there is somebody somewhere who loves it.

The main aspect I don't understand is people liking it. I also don't understand the faux outrage when you tell another Irish person that you have no interest in the thing at all, as if you are somehow less Irish if you don't care about it.

What do you not like about it? Is it the games themselves? Do you not think a good game of hurling can be entertaining and brilliant to watch the skills on show?

I'm not having a go, just curious.

No, I don't. I find the games incredibly boring to watch, sure you can't even see the ball properly in hurling and both sports consist of launching the ball as far as possible mixed with pulling and dragging.
The biggest problem is that you can hardly say that without gasps of disbelief from Irish people, like you have just suggested paedophilia should be encouraged.

Careful now. That shouldn't be joked about around here.
