Not Right Wing at all but implementing the ability to issue fines for going outside the 5km limit or entering someones house is a step towards freedoms completely being removed

There's also fines if you drive down the motorway at 150kmh. 

You're only ever free within the rules/laws

Freedom can only be completely removed in that instance if those fines continue long after the coronavirus is gone.

There is a difference between short-term/medium-term and long-term restrictions on freedom, which needs to be denoted

Fair enough point. I have visions of power mad Gardai pulling as many people over as possible and handing out fines just because they can

When are they coming in? Have heard conflicting reports

They have said that fines will be a last resort, and I'd imagine in more or less all cases they won't be handed out unless you're being a complete ****

the great tv commentators know when to get out of the way and let the picture do the talking. I prefer Barry Davies commentary but Magee got it right nothing worse than a commentator who talks too much after an amazing goal.   Radio is different they have to talk. By the way commentating is the hardest job imo.
