Mick but only on the condition that a 32 county Republic was the aim. I disliked Fine Gael and the Blueshirts as they completely lost sight of Collins goal and became free staters.

At the time I would have been anti-treaty. Now looking back and seeing how the UK are treating Ireland even with EU backing then you would have to say fair play it was a good deal.
