Think all that is going on in the world has finally broke me the ironic thing is it actually took the easing of lockdown to do it. When I was hearing from very few people during lockdown I could use it as a reason why but now with lockdown over I'm starting to see everyone be back out socialising etc yet my phone is still silent

Looks like the sacrifices I made 10-15 years ago to help my family are finally coming back to haunt me now. Was told this would happen but still feels absolutely sh*te when it finally hits you fill in the face Ouch

Not being a smart arse Ringer but have you reached out to these people yourself? Try to organise a catch up?

I've one or two mates that are fairly rudderless and wouldnt organise a thing themselves but once i make contact and see about catching up they're game on.

I'd of tried before with no luck McG and tbh if I took the football lads I go to games with out ofnof it theytthey notmnot left to contact. As said in original post I made sacrifices that I thought was the best thing to do years ago and in doing so most of my mates at the time just drifted away and don't chat to me anymore.

Others are the sort that I'd of contacted about planning something and say they were doing XYZ only for me to see later on they were out and hadn't mentioned it to me. Normally I'm grand with that just ignore it cause I've trips coming up to focus on but it's sh*te now when have nothing to look forward to
