Signing a 16 year old from West Brom called Morgan Rogers for £8m. The biggest spend on a 16 year old since Arsenal signed Theo Walcott from Southampton

Joao Cancelo signing and Sane staying would be a good transfer window now

Rumours Barca are in for Cancelo though

He’d provide good competition for Walker

Good competition?

He’s a far better player than Kyle Walker.

You’d think that given the comments by Bayern players management and president this summer
I think he’ll stay though

If he was to go, and with prices the way they are, it should be for £120m+

Cancelo > Danilo so will strengthen that side of the team. Pep likes to rotate the fullbacks, neither will play every game

Would that appeal to Cancelo? He'd be swapping one domestic champion/European contender for another, with the difference being he's not the undisputed first choice. He'd walk into most teams in world football
No thank you Turkish......I'm sweet enough

According to most reports that I’ve read he’s surplus to requirements at Juve

Bayern continue their public tapping up of Sane that's gone on all summer:

Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovač: “Our leaders showed him a clear plan that has been agreed upon. We are very focused and target-oriented. Leroy knows what to expect here.”

I thought the odds v Liverpool in the charoity shield would be worth a look. Nope. City big favourites so nothing of value. Should be an easy win for City

The Sane to Bayern saga rumbles on

After two months of everyone connected with Bayern - Kovac, Rummenigge, Matthaus, Salihamidzic, and several players, openly tapped up a player contracted to another club, they made the strange move yesterday of coming out publically and apologising for their comments.
(Imagine the uproar if City conducted their business like this)

Meantime there's been silence from City and Sane, who's been playing the pre season games, but no sign of him agreeing a new contract.

I’m surprised City haven’t done more this transfer window.
They need more quality in defence and another forward is needed.

They will still win the league but if they want to win all 4 they need more quality in certain areas.
They have the squad to complete in all 4 competitions.

Is it classed as tapping up when they are putting in cash offers to buy?
