What's the story with the arseways sequence of teams coming out for the opening ceremony? Seems to be alphabetical at times then random teams come out.

They were the 4th team out after Greece, Refugee team and Iceland

f**k all of them were there.
There's 116 in the team and there was about 12 if that at the ceremony

in terms of why we were one of the first , below is the Japanese for Ireland as you see it starts with A

I read something about there being some sort of pandemic which meant limited numbers. Sounds a bit far fetched though.

The Yanks probably had about 100 out of over 600. Not unusual for an opening ceremony for all the athletes not to be there even allowing for some of the issues around these Olympics
