Dermot Gallagher on Sky pretty much said what I said last night on the previous page.
He said what makes it worse is that there's been 2 exact same challenges but 2 different outcomes which makes the whole thing look ridiculous.

Doesn't change the fact that Chris Sutton is an attention seeking twat. Does speak sense when it comes to analysing the other teams in Scottish football but why not be known for that than craving the attention.

Klopp gets away with a ridiculous amount on the sidelines tbf. He's the king of the over reaction amongst the managers.

Klopp said in his interview after the game that there was no contact

I'd need to see it again, but on first viewing thought Richie didn't connect with the Swansea lad's head? Did his boot not just miss him and that's why it was a yellow?

It's still dangerous foul play. The law says the player doesn't have to get injured for it to be considered dangerous

Silly bitch on RTE said Spartak Moscow were the surprise Russian champions.

They're the most successful Russian (and 2nd Soviet) team of all time !!!

LOL

Don't know much about Russian football but assumed Spartak were always one of their main teams given how much they've played in European competitions.

Daft thing to say.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Love it the way Brady and Dunphy announce "I actually watched that game on Saturday" when talking about the likes of the Man City Liverpool game, before making a point.
As if it's above and beyond the call of duty for people paid to talk about football to actually watch big matches involving the teams they'll be commentating on

As in self-righteous arseholes that label or think of themselves as 'old skool'?

They were the surprise champions though - it was their first title since 2001. Historically they have been one of the strongest Russian sides but not in the last decade or so. It would be a bit like moaning about someone claiming Liverpool were surprise champions if they won the Premier League this year!

Yeah they were 5th favorites at the start of last season Gary.

To be fair, Cantwell knows her stuff.

Spurs v Dortmund the other night could have been the champions league final

If Spurs beat Swansea today that's the talk of the Wembley hoodoo put to bed

Spurs are the best team in the league

Paul Merson said all that today

Paul Merson couldn't predict the colour of his next sh*te correctly if he tried

He's not wrong about the Wembley comment however.

Merson actually had quite a hard high percentage of correct predictions last year, don't mask yourself being a complete fkn idiot by mocking others who put their predictions on public show for all to knock without starting your own weekly predictions thread on a Friday lunchtime with your own predictions then we can all mock your own idiotic predictions.

*
To note I'm not defending Merson more laughing at an idiot trying to mock him!
