Irish golf on the up and up again today.
Cork's John Murphy and Waterford's Gary Hurley both successfully navigated the 6 rounds of Tour School to claim a card for the 2023 season. Clap

Pga tour, dp world tour and liv to merge Shocked

I'm watching the golf channel here and the more they try explain it the filthier the deal sounds. A glorified Saudi funded Super League.

Hideki Matsuyama turned down $300m to join LIV. Rickie Fowler turned down $75m. Loads of others as well. Now they're joining them anyway.

Some move from Jay Monahan the PGA tour commissioner. Runs a supposedly player led organisation, leaves it to the players to defend the tour from all the LIV stuff in the media, then screws over the players he supposedly represents and signs them up with LIV anyway.

No doubt he will have been paid millions to cut the deal and will shortly be disappearing out of view into retirement to a mansion in Florida.

I wonder what happens if Jack Smith exposes LIV as a money laundering front with a sideline in stolen classified documents. I’m glad I never watch golf.

Football is next. Four Saudi clubs will e under the same ownership as Newcastle. Benzema going for a €200M per year contract, Kante offered €100M. Worldwide sport is f**ked if you ask me, especially football. Nobody will watch this sh*t in 20 years time.

Wilfried Zaha being offered 50 million pounds a year to move to Al Nasser.  By that valuation I should be worth a few hundred grand a year.

To play for Al Nasser.  I see myself as a Luka Modric type of player for them setting up Ronaldo to score loads of the goals
