Just seen this. This chap is making the Oystons look like capable and reliable owners. They’re 7 days away from being kicked out the league and he’s making it look like he’s steadying the ship when he’s doing sweet f all. Imagine being a Bury fan right now

Bolton's called off their game against Donny tomorrow.
Manager concerned of the mental welfare of his underaged players getting hammered every game. Losing 5-0 to newly promoted Tranmere appears to be the trigger for it.

Lost 5-0 again. And to make things worse they've been given the same deadline as Bury on Tuesday to sort their sh*t out otherwise we could end up with just 22 teams left.

Bolton in bigger trouble than Bury now.
Takeover bid which has been on the table subject to court conditions has collapsed and they have just over 24 hours til the deadline.

Statement on Bolton Wanderers website saying they intend to cease trading on Wednesday morning.
Chairman was paying himself a salary of £650,000 while all of this was going on

Not looking great for Bury despite the second wind they received on Saturday, completely stopped selling tickets which is probably an indication to cease trading.
Only 2 relegation spots in League 1 and 0 in League 2 if both clubs go is gonna make the lower leagues rather uninteresting this season.

8 signings and still counting for Bolton today alone.
Including the likes of Daryl Murphy and future Irish maestro Will Buckley.
