Well done to Cork delighted for them.

This will be a decent benchmark to see where the health of the first division is at.

How many fans from each club will be willing to travel an hour or two to watch a game of this size? I reckon of 1000 would be a decent attendance, but would be it's be closer to 1500.

I really do think that a game this size loses something by not having an actual home team. The home team should really be whoever finished higher in the table. Would also give more meaning to the final few games of the season if you're battling for a higher seeding in the playoff games.

Waterford will be worth favorites but I just really hope whoever wins gets past UCD to make it the highest quality PD in living memory.

Likewise, I think the first would be a better division for having UCD in it. Would a decent, open league next year with them as opposed to Waterford.

I see Waterford highlighted away end issues last week with FAI and they ploughed ahead. Madness

I assume Caulfield will be gone from Galway now,  Maybe Ian Ryan to come in?

Ryan is heavily linked with Bray, I believe he's a school teacher so can't see Galway suiting him

Although this year it was always going to be difficult to get promoted with the 3 FT teams, and they'll surely be favourites to go up next season, it's hard to see him being another chance at it.

Lots of work going on in Mounthawk park over the last few months, I think the license decision for Kerry FC is due in the next week or two.
