their still spinning . An absolute nothing story about a private loan Barrett had which has been cleared is nothing to do with Irish Football. What Friday has down is that some people would prefer to play chicken with the future of football rather than lose their fiefdoms.

Noel Kennedy is not even on council yet some clown allowed him to take his place at the meeting so he could act Billy Big Bollocks Marc MacSharrys best buddy but RTÉ showed himself and see Nothing John Earley laughing on the way in to what they thought would be a victory for the cancer that permeates Every league and Fa in the country.

More attacks on Barrett today from Larry Bass. Whats the story....is this all spin??

I find it hard to take any of the council serious when they never opened their mouth before.
It's not me it's you:-)

I don’t know but it does seem that the new board are unwisely giving the “football family”  sticks with which to beat them.  Hopefully things will settle when the changes are approved at the EGM.  IF

The penny hasn’t fully dropped though.  There is no FAI without government funding.  The people in charge sank the ship.

Good old Noel. He's from Sligo and wouldn't be exactly held in the highest regard around Sligo. Have heard in the past of him of a couple of questionable things he has done.

Interesting that when Beirne O'Byrne and John Delaney were up for CEO, Noel Kennedy was backing Beirne. When JD got the job he seem's to have looked after Noel because Noel was happy to say how JD was the best thing to ever happen to the FAI. Keep your friends close ... as the saying goes.

it is quite sickening that those will more than 10 years in positions of power  scrabbling around trying to preserve their noses in the trough when they did *** all to reign in JD at best and actively encouraged it at worst .  They either seen what was happening and did nothing or they didn't see anything and are incompetent - either way they should go no matter how shiny their brass neck

I wish the media was going hard on this a bit more, none of these were to be seen or heard for the past 15-20 years

MOU and rule changes passed this evening, Over 90% in favour on both. Supporters votes plus other constituences aded to counil in GRG report were also passed to be added to the AGM list so were able to vote on the other motions invcluding the above.

Would still have concerns on certain issues but it's a step forward at least, Board members who served on previous boards before the current one are unable to sit on committees going forward and that's now in the rules.
