Wonder where the Bundesliga fans have got to

Bayern about to win 9 in a row, have taken the best manager from the league for next season, with a wage bill higher than any club in England.

Romanticism at its finest

Roll on 25 in a row

German club ownership is being held up as a model by English fans to adopt. German fan culture is more prominent than English now and their stadiums have more colour and atmosphere than English grounds.

English league has better players, higher wages and higher ticket prices. German league is easier to attend for lower income households but doesn’t have stars the EPL has. I suppose it’s about what you want from football.

Was more aimed at those who said it was the best league in the world quality wise.

Bayern are nicknamed "FC Hollywood" by fans of other German clubs.

It is not a compliment.

It's not entirely coincidental that Germany allows standing at games, plus you can bring your beer out onto the terraces while the game is going on.

Maybe a different culture there. But on a few Ireland aways, gets fair annoying people coming and going every few minutes for a drink. Then the odd goal we score, the drink goes flying.

As they've done for the last 3 complete seasons. Wink

"The Premier League has been granted government permission to roll over its existing domestic television deal with broadcasters for a further three years.

The new deal with Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video and BBC Sport will run from 2022 to 2025.

The previous deal was worth £4.7bn."

Will be interesting to see whether the other big leagues can maintain their (already smaller) TV revenues in these post-Covid times.

Meanwhile, the EPL has signed a new deal for US TV rights with NBC worth £2bn over the next six years - twice the value of the previous deal.

While Italian and Spanish clubs go bankrupt, both on and off the pitch:

Villareal 0 v 2 Man U

Barca 0 v 0 Benfica

Young Boys 3 v 3 Atalanta

Chelsea 4 v 0 Juventus

Much more of this and they'll have to re-name the English Premier League as the European Super League.
