That Mulligans pub is some spot Smile
I moved over to this part of Dublin a few years ago having never spent anytime here or knowing anyone. Even if a lot of the pubs are not for the fainthearted , one thing i like about them is they are full of characters. Locals that welcoming and willing to engage in conversation with you, even if they dont have a clue who i am. I often stop in to some of these pubs for 2/3 pints on my tod and more times than not IL end up waffling to some locals.

I never would have thought i would do the dirty deed and move to the Northside, But since doing so i have realised that they aren't all scumbags Smile

Are you thinking of Madigans in Kilbarrack.

The Donaghmede Inn is attached to the shopping centre.

never been in the Beller, closest pub to where i grew up though.

I was from the right side of the Malahide Road and not a D17 peasant thankfully

Donaghmede Inn and Concorde were the only locals i was in on occasion.

AN ARMY BOMB squad made a viable bomb safe near Darndale in north Dublin last night.

According to the Defence Forces, the team was deployed following a request from the gardaí.

A section of the R139 (the old N32), which runs from the M50 to Clare Hall area, was closed for the duration of the operation for safety reasons.

According to a statement:

The Bomb Disposal Team arrived on scene at 9.45pm, carried out an assessment and proceeded to make the IED safe.
The device was subsequently removed to a secure military installation for further examination at 10.35pm.

Evidence will be handed over to gardaí for their investigation, according to the Defence Forces.

Clinchy is not real Darndale.

Yes Marcus, ISIS must be considered given the planning of the new cultural centre in nearby Clongriffin :)
