My original small defence of Fury was that his association with Kinahan is through the sport of boxing versus the illegal drugs and arms business and that he is no different than many other sports starts or people in general who will turn a blind eye for the greater financial rewards.

Sounds like a tragic accident. 

Seen many people messing with cars back in the day on bonnets, on roofs while someone was driving. Very easy to make a mistake. Could be what happened here (victim jumped on the car messing but fell off and car went over him)

Thought they explain it fairly well to be honest...

The same guy was sentenced to 11 years in 2008 for multiple sexual assaults with extreme violence and a threat to kill. The legal system in this country is a joke.

I saw there was a woman jailed today for 5 years for allowing her partner physically and sexually abuse her 2 year old girl and 3 year old boy.

It's Judge Nolan, who has always been very sympathetic to paedos and child molestors.

He did say that his hands were tried in relating to sentencing Garda.

A really horrible case.  The max sentence for coercion is 5 years and when someone pleads guilty they get 25% off the max sentence automatically as far as I know. 

In addition there was a whole host of other charges which didn’t not go through as a deal was struck so that the case would at least come before the courts and the victim has significant health issues and there was a concern it would never get to trial due to this if they pursued all of those charges.  

In another unrelated case the perpetrator got 17 years as other charges such as assault were also brought before the court.  

I am not sure Judge Nolan could have done anything else on the sentencing on the first case.  A really unique and horrible case.
