Really fancy the lesser greens to beat the Originals today. The Originals will field a second string side, as they have a cup final next week.

Interesting that Sutton said today that DD didnt want him at Celtic in the summer of 2000 but MON was powerful enough to get his own way. He said that Howe (or whoever) needs to get the same authority over transfer decisions.

Gordon Strachan is a pundit on Hibs TV.

I suppose he is a Hibs fan.

Why was the Edouard goal ruled not valid?

Delighted that season is over
Worst in memory, down there with Macari/Brady

Yes, an almost entirely second string Hibs side, probably only one or two cup final starters at most out of that eleven. And Celtic still couldn't score against them.

John Kennedy was on the shortlist for the Hibs manager role not too long ago. They had a lucky escape there.

Edouard, Ajer and Turnbull have made the team of the season.

Definitely a player in Turnbull but his decision making, selfishness needs worked on. A useful player moving forward but calls of building the team around him are a bit over the top. We need someone more consistent in that central role.

Be surprised if the other two are anywhere near pre season. However Id love Ajer to stay.

Surprised at Edouard.

He didn't cover himself in glory in the 1st few months.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Will Crystal Palace go for Eddie Howe now that it's been confirmed that Hodgson is leaving Palace?

Could very well do
If I was him i wouldn't touch the Celtic job - what little of the squad that will be left this summer disgraced themselves this past season
Gave up in October
Why would u think a group of spineless jellyfish like that would work for u?

Id be surprised if he wasnt aware that the Palace job was going to be coming up and hadnt considered that before seemingly committing to Celtic. If we dont secure Howe it would be a massive fail, as it looks like we have put all our eggs in one basket with him.

£18mill fee agreed + add ons + sell on for Edouard

Believed to be Leicester bound

Ah well, would've been fun to see how he got on if he had not played in a gutless team last year with himself looking completely disinterested - still got a very good scoring rate last season which surprised me considering the amount of sitters he missed (2 v sevco for a start)

Au revoir

The beauty of hindsight, but we could have got a lot more than that last summer for him. £25m at least. In the boards defence if we sold him there would have been uproar. Dont think anyone could foresee how pathetic his performances would have been. Those performances and with one year left on his contract has drastically reduced his fee. Good riddance, another who wont be as fondly remembered as he should have been.
