10m for Armstrong according to the BBC.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

What a fee for a player with one year remaining on his contract that is if true. I've never really rated Armstrong that highly anyway. He can perform well in the spl at times but doesn't really cut it in europe. I doubt he'll do much at Southampton

good money for him if it is true, will be sad to see him go though. he's probably second choice  anyway with rodgers liking a central midfield 3 of brown, ntcham and rogic.

Odubajo was very highly rated before his injury troubles, so he certainly warrants taking a look at anyway to see where he's at. Potentially an excellent signing if he can get back to where he was pre injury

Great business for Armstrong but still sorry he's gone.  Absolutely outstanding in the Invincible season but injuries and loss of form last season was frustrating.

Hope he does well with Saints, if he stays injury-free, he will do well in my opinion.

Celtic will receive about £800,000 from their players' participation at the World Cup after Dedryck Boyata's Belgium and Mikael Lustig's Sweden progressed to the last 16 and Tom Rogic's Australia and Cristian Gamboa's Costa Rica bowed out at the group stage.

I was at it 2 years ago, didn't think it was that great to be honest and I wouldn't be going outa me way to go again, close and all it is to my gaff.   Paul Byrne's attendance would definitely put me off.

I've watched him closely when Celtic have played Hibs and he's no better than what we have at the moment, certainly not ahead of the departed Armstrong.   Good energy alright but technically nothing special in my opinion.
