I don't really get why its so funny or hard to believe.
He's the second top scorer in the league. Boyd is the top scorer. Its not unusual for them then to get nominated for end of season awards. Same in any league.
 
Wasn't Dembele nominated last year for the young player award? He was 3rd top scorer and finished up with 17 league goals, 3 more than Morelos is on now.
Now I'm not saying that Morelos is anywhere near Dembele's class, but if Celtic fans took off their blinkers and put their strange obsession with all things Morelos to one side for a second, they would see that he is well worth a nomination for the young player of the year award in a league that isn't exactly brimming with star candidates.

brown has been very good in the league this year but found out in europe as were others, not buying into the pass completion stats, if we want to be dropping into the europa or challenging for last 16 we need an ugraded midfield, brown has 1-2 more years SPL in him if managed correctly


as for why dembele isnt up for an award how much of the season has he missed? the same with the thumb

looking forward to sunday and finally exorcising the ghost of 99 against the newco filth

Yeah, its understandable why neither was nominated. Don't think anyone has said either should have been.

Baggio, I've watched numerous Sevco games this season.  Morelos is utter sh*te, you may as well nominate Karamoko Dembele ahead of him.   I've no obsession with him, he's just brutal. LOL
 
What about young Christie?  Always impresses any time I see Aberdeen play.  Linford Christie would be more worthy than Morelos come to think of it.

Whether he was sh*te or not when you watched him, hes second top scorer in the league so that will always get a 21 year old a nomination for the YPOY award 

So Boyd and Morelos getting a nomination is a joke, but Ryan christie should be in
