Arsenal as well as Everton are trying to sign AC Milan forward M'Baye who was on loan at Watford last season.

I'm amazed that Arsenal would pay that sort of money while Wenger is the manager.

To be fair with Sanchez and Ozil they did spend big.... and no surprise they are their best players.
What they failed to do is to continue this policy every year to build up the team.

At first sight, maybe.

But it has long been clear that AW has extraordinary influence at Arsenal (presumably due his ability to deliver on the balance sheet, if not the pitch).

But even Kronke & Co. must know that they went out on a limb by re-appointing AW, therefore they HAVE to back him to the hilt in his plans for the team.

And AW himself must know that he's on his last chance to leave with a "bang", and that contrary to all his previous protestations, the present team simply isn't good enough.

This is his last throw of the dice and his numbers better come up.

AW always contended that he could build a top team without spending big.

But forget the FA Cup etc, after last season, not even he can kid himself that this is so.

Are Arsenal still playing with three at the back? They seem to have a bit more steel about them, and that Kalesnic lad or whatever you call him seems to fit into that tough guy lad they need.

Has Arsene finally stumbled on the right formula?

Keeping Sanchez is as good a deal as any this Summer

Still playing 3 at the back and it definitely seems to suit our style a lot better. Kolasinac looks a great player but early days yet. Been missing a tough guy like him the last few years and we could do with a couple more. If we keep Sanchez and get a couple more signings we could be competing, although I wouldn't be overly hopeful.

What a joke this club is.  Players not even making an effort.  How the hell did Ozil ever become a footballer??   He just ponces about the pitch moaning and not even putting in any effort to run.  Not very German like qualities. How does he get his game with them!? I don't give a sh*t if he is good going forward. He is a gutless wimp.   And we have nothing to fear from Aaron Ramsey either.
