Why would we want to sing 'Polska Bialo Czerwoni'. It's hard enough to get our own supporters sing our own songs!.

have to agree, it's like singing along to another countries national anthem. A flag fair enough but definitely not singing

Yeah sorry Horsey I thought you were asking me. Agree with yourself and the Saint. As I said they were great hosts no question but singing songs? I had a great holiday in Macedonia in September but I don't plan on singing about it any time soon. |

The funny thing is that there could be more Poles than home fans at the matvh like in 08'. Any Irish fans singing this would get drowned out but its a free world for anyone who wants to sing along with them.
Personally I dont see the obsession with the Poles. I dont see what they did that every other country doesnt do when we visit. The Faroese opened the Irish pub especiall for Irish fans til 4 hours later than normal closing time and had a special party(ish) thing on the day especially for the Iish. Should we get on to Brian Kerr to see if he could give us an insight into a few songs for June |

I thought the poles treated us very well, with huge welcomes, freindliness through out and Good byes. The scenes of the poles singing for us in poznan after we left were nice. The Posters they put outside the GPO. The freindliness was unreal. A polish taxi man hugged us when we left for the airport. He just wanted to say thaks and that we will be missed.
Im sure its easy to by cynacical about money but leaving that aside I think there was too many ordinary poles who joined in with us thoughout and had good laugh. Its for this reason a Gesture to say thanks would be nice. As they provided enough of them for us when we were there and since.

Whats a 2 minute chant out of 90 ffs? Support Ireland all ye want but I think a chant for a couple of mins would be a nice gesture and something the Poles would really like. They sang all our songs in thr summer. Actually last last week when I was in Poznan a couple of randomers starred singing to me shoes off for the boys in green when they saw my irish jersey. Its up to you but I will be giving it a lash on 6 feb.
