Answers to those questions: the airport is in Zone 10, so your hotel ticket is good for it.

Second question: same ticket connection yes, different ticket connection no.

Staying in a airbnb... Is it possible to get one of these transport tickets from the tourist information office?

Don't think so, no. Only hotels, campsites and hostels as far as I can tell. Check with your AirBnB host though.

ya unfortunately they don't provide the card. We're only staying a few metres away from mulligans so would only need it to get out to and back from the stadium...and out to the airport on Wednesday.

It's tight enough, allow 15 minutes for the bus transfer. You probably would be ok though.

You can collect a free public transport ticket when you arrive in Geneva airport that lasts 80 minutes, should get you from the airport to your accommodation for free providing it is within zone 10.

You are also entitled to free public transport for the duration of your stay if you are staying in a hotel, youth hostel or campsite.

Cheers for that Deane. I knew about the 80 minutes free alright but wasn't aware of the free travel card. Handy considering the hotel is not ideally located

Anyone found any decent pubs in Geneva? Anything along the lines of kellys in Stockholm would do the trick. Mulligans seems the most logical meeting point but appears to be quite small.

... Well this time the Irish pub is as expensive as all the rest. About €7.20 a pint though ain't too bad considering.

Think Mulligans is on a corner of a square which will gather a crowd for cans. Unless someone finds another cheap alternative that is.

Tins Tins Tins!!! Allez Allez Allez. I wonder will there be as many gypsies collecting cans as Copenhagen? They were sound for taking away the cans but also as annoying in equal measure!

has anyone been around this place before and how big is the square?
