It wont be done at all or at Roker.

Short doesn't want the bad publicity and the venue owners don't want 40,000 people outside on their doorstep looking for Bain's head as he's the figurehead speaking to the public/attending games thus will receive all the flak despite having done nowt wrong.

Coleman appears to be getting angrier at every press conference now. Said he's never had a meeting or even a phone call from Short since he arrived.

Couldn't resist a dig at Middlesbrough calling them a club in Yorkshire LOL

Unfortunately for him the closest he'll get to a derby match will be semi-pro outfit Spennymoor Town based in Durham who could be only 2 leagues from us as of next season, that's a seriously negative perspective to look at things. Ouch

Sunderland is now up for sale for a quid, a measly £1.

Aslong they pay all the £136 million debt, which ironically is owed to Ellis Short. LOL

Just wait until they get relegated, go into administration, write off the debts and then buy them.

For two quid.

Then Sunderland are no longer registered in Jersey which means the taxman comes sniffing along.

Will be a long complicated process the administration route, and a possible 3rd relegation.

Guess so.

Unless Short is prepared to take a massive cut on his losses, then it's hard to see any way out for Sunderland.

And while I'd say there's no way a shark like him would ever be willing to do so, surely he must appreciate that the longer he holds out, the worse will be their situation, and the less he'll eventually get.

Feel sorry for their fans, plus the off-pitch employees who'll all lose jobs, mind.

Agreed Terri. Right now it's all down to Short on how much he's willing to lose.
Even if Sunderland survive this season, all they're doing is delaying the inevitable. As soon as parachute payments end it's pretty much the last nail in the coffin.

Club is running at £136 million in the red, with a further £35 million in annual wages and £8 million a year bank loan. Just not sustainable even at Championship level never mind League 1 !

Those figures alone should tell you why there was no investment on field this season.

Jan Kirchhoff has signed for Bolton surely we should have gone for him given his time at Sunderland?

Okay he is injury prone but he could have been a good signing.

Rudy Gestede misses the game tommorrow injured and out for the rest of the season.

I'm sure the Boro will find plenty of others to score the goals for their inveitable victory.
