Tough decision for Parkinson tonight as to who to pay alongside Bailey Wright in the centre of defence.

Flanagan Axhemaji Willis Feeney and Sanderson are all injured.

Maybe he will switch Luke O'Nein or Conor McLaughlin into the middle?

Sunderland 1 2 down at half time.

Pompey deserve their lead SAFC have been wide open at the back.

Can't afford to give two goals away like those two this afternoon.

3 1 defeat.

Ironically Sunderland played better in the second half but really didn't look like scoring.

Hopefully we'll bounce back on Tuesday.

Mansfield have made a sluggish start but should improve. Similar to Rochdale a league higher in that they have an Irish manager and a lot of Irish players. Unlikely to beat Sunderland, though.

Must be happy you avoided South Shields! I've a friend who supports them and really wanted to draw Sunderland.

I was thinking that myself could have been embarrassing if South Shields had knocked us out though if they beat Cheltenham Sunderland could still end up playing them provided SAFC take care of Mansfield!

Have you been in the Irish Centre recently?
If so what's it been like?

I'm thinking of heading in Saturday afternoon as Waterford are playing hurling. Nothing would sum up the grim reality of my social life at the moment like a table for one in the Irish centre for a few hours on a Saturday evening. Have you been out yourself?

I've mainly watched the football in the house.

Tend to go to four locally owned pubs to support them during the week but rarely go out on the weekend.

Maybe you have heard of them?

The Ivy House Chaplins Museum Vaults and the Ship Isis.

Hugely disappointing last night.

Only Sunderland could go from having the best defensive record in the league to letting in five goals in two games.

Conor Mac will never be a right wing back and what's happened to Jack Diamond? He didn't even make the bench last night.

Parkinson doesn't do himself any favours with his ridiculous post match comments. He must have watched a different game to me!

SAFC's Jim Rodwell saying its just a question of when not if div 1/2 clubs go bust in the current covid climate..

He says Sunderland are not immune from financial problems despite being perceived as a 'bgi' club.

Not looking good unless the takeover finally happens?

Just shows how crazy things have become Sunderland's home game v Ipswich next Tuesday is being shown at Quinns bar at the SOL.

If you took a wrong turning in the stadium you could could end up watching the game from the West Stand!!
