Just finished series 2 last night, club seems to be in a better position than it was the prior season anyway. Losing the striker was obviously the turning point, but seeing he got €65k/week in Bordeaux, there's no way he was gonna stay. In hindsight, should have kept him till the end of the season and just lost him on a free, would probably have got them promoted.
The marketing lad is a very dis-likeable lad, but seems to do things that are right for the club, even if it comes across he's only doing it for his CV. The chairman seems to be a proper football man, I'd imagine it being like any of us if we became millionaires and bought our favourite club. The manager seemed a bit out of his depth, looked like he had one plan and wasn't very flexible.

How has the lad Maja got on for Bordeaux? im sure i read he got a Nigeria callup
I really wanted Celtic to sign him as they were heavily linked but could no way offer €65k a week and the beautiful Bordeaux countryside! Edited by tonyjaa - 06 Apr 2020 at 1:00pm |

Maja scored one goal in seven appearances last season then got a season ending injury. He has scored eight goals in twenty four games this season. |

The Methven fella understandably seems hated by colleagues working below him
Just finished episode 3 Very Maja orientated so far O’Nein seems a bit too nice to be a footballer Any chance of McGeady being interviewed?

One of the few players I have seen to really stand out in League Two the past few years, he came across as a nice fella on the show as well.
It was also hard not to like Donald. For all his obvious faults he seems to be a genuine football fan who wanted the club to well for the sake of the city and the fans as much as himself. The lack of preparation for Maja leaving was horrendous! It was obvious he was going to leave for months and the only backup plan was giving Wigan whatever they wanted for Grigg.

When I met Donald and listened to him at a fans talk in he came over as very genuine if only he could have got the American takeover clinched.

Donald comes across well on the show.
Who was the player interviewed in his house at the start of episode 2 with his wife. She was getting on like she was having to live on Universal Credit as a players average wage in League 1 was £2k per week |

The lady who got sacked after the attendance issue on boxing day
Where is she from? Her accent was all over the place, at points it was a staunch O6 accent then it drifted to posh Scottish Weird |

Donald seems genuine in everything he says about his ambitions for the club, but comes across as out of his depth. The Grigg negotiations were embarrassing. As has been mentioned loads of time already, keeping Maja until the end of the season would have been a better idea, even if he left for nothing.
As for Methven, he seems very capable at his job. His people skills are brutal though so it's not hard to see why the staff would not be keen on him.
