Sad day for all at the library!

Shame there will be no derby for Newcastle next season, probably would have lost them both anywayLOL

Miracle how they stayed up in the last few season, new managers coming in after Christmas always seemed to keep them up.

Southampton missed a penalty late on which would have given them a bit of hope.

Would sacking Moyes have saved them ?

At least this season was better than last season for Sunderland. Last season the club's chairperson covered up the rape of a child by one of the players. Relegation isn't too bad really.

Digs aside, they should come back up next season. Big stadium, big revenue and the championship isn't as difficult as sky make out.

Not too sure SB really .
Now they need new owners who will put money into the club as debt will drag them down and keep them down also .
I read this morning that they are £110 million in debt but what really stung me is that the player wage bill is £83 million per year , goodness that's a real mess Confused

Dont agree mate,Villa have a big stadium, there is lots of money in the championship,Wolves spent 13M on Helder Costa,Leeds will be close again next season,Norwich, the 3 teams that don't win the play offs plus the 2 Pl teams that will also drop down,Newcastle sold 3 big players for big money  in Townsend, Wijnaldum and Sissoko, but most of the money was reinvested,Benitez is a world class coach, miles ahead of Moyes, not sure if sunderland players could go for that kind of money or how much they have to spend next season.

The team Roy Keane dragged up 10 years ago were poor, I think they'll do something similar next season with a poor team.

If the owner stays out of the way I think Leeds will win the championship next season with villa and Sunderland going up with them.

The john O'Shea will play his final season in the championship, unless Sean Dyche brings him to the PL's version of old Kilburn.

LOL

You can bet he loved the fact that they went down, but it is rather sad how he was treated, the sunderland fan who spat at his car window and the kids dad who threw the scarf back at him must been given him a sickening feeling,he seems to be respected at West Brom though and has praised Pulis.
