Never really got the whole subbeteo thing. had a board and a few teams but was a fairly short lived fad.  Just checked out the ROI subbuteo team
http://website.lineone.net/~ken.b/Eire/TFAI.htm

and the world website http://www.fistf.com/index.asp?page=home

and then off one of their forums, news of a Subbuteo computer game coming out on NintendoConfusedConfusedConfused how would that work?

When Paulo DI Canio (pity he’s a fascist racist nob) came to Scotland he said that one of his first subbuteo teams was Celtic thought that was a heap of sh1th at the time and had to laugh, but seems he really might be into it from first couple of paragraphs of article below. Maybe that’s how he learned to push over a ref with one finger.

the attention to detail was excellent but the game itself was utter pants

Hes about 40-50 years of age and celebrating winning a game of subbuteo like a f**kin child.

I loved it aswell!!!!

People that usually complain about games like this, or any game for that matter, only do it cos they were $hite at it!!

I remember having the Rovers team and United team, the floodlights, corner flags, little stand and the old man tacked the clothe to a big sheet of wood so was a quality surface.
Id rather see my young lad play this as opposed to a joypad in his hand!!
Thumbs up
