So we all start hecking him a bit, but he doesn't notice, instead, zips up and starts licking his fingers and off he goes.

Pure dirt.

Did he give you the €20 he owes? 8 years now he owes you that!

When putting Petrol in the car, I always ensure the € amount is even. Latest fill a few mins ago was €57.00. Has to either be .00 or .50 anything in between is a complete no go.

Whilst paying for the above Petrol, I also purchased a €2 scratch card, a spur of the moment purchase. When scratching off the panel or in this case panels, filled with anticipation at the possible small fortune that awaits (I won a fiver ), I scratched the panel back ways or right to left. The bottom panel likewise I scratched the prize amount first before revealing the symbols.

I remember a lady in work give me a lift once and the floor of her car was full of scratch cards.

She admitted she was addicted to them - would buy them every time she went to the shop/petrol station (and obviously never cleaned her car).

I never got the appeal of scratch cards.

Tax is something you have to pay. Nobody has to buy scratch cards.

Confused Pretty sure the odd time I’ve felt like a scratch card flutter I did so of my own volition and had to actually ask the sales assistant to provide me with one and choose the one I wanted, before using my own free will to pay. I dont have the same free choice with the fine people in Revenue.
