I really like Rowett I must say , he was cut by the Brummies when they finished 10th but could not get Derby over the line . Look he has a real chance at Stoke .

Provided he is backed by the board i think he will at least get Stoke to the play offs.

Couldn't care less how it's perceived but delighted to see Stephen Ireland's career go from bad to purgatory. Nice to see karma apply to someone that treated his national team in the contempt he does.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Hughes will probably sign him on a 5 year contract for Southampton

It's funny, I always wonder what our team could have been like if Ireland, O'Brien, Gibson, Andy Reid, and Kevin Doyle (to a lesser extent) had reached their full potential at the same time as the spine of the team was Given, Finnan, O'Shea, Dunne, S.Reid (when fully fit), Duff and Keane. Or even in 2012 when we started adding Coleman, Wes, McCarthy, McClean, Clark and Wilson to the panel, when those players could have taken over as a new spine.

Think he was on a loan to buy deal with Wolves from January.

Yeah but they signed him permanently for £10m last week, and today he's supposedly going to Stoke for £12m

No different to when madrid bought Morata on his discounted buy-back clause just to sell him again at profit, albeit it took them a year to do so.

@ Stoked Up a good late point for Stoke City last night after a difficult start to the season can you see Stoke going on a good run now?

They've been on a good run. Losing at home to Birmingham last weekend was the first poor result since the first half dozen games and was totally undeserved. As per usual the championship is incredibly competitive. Stoke are only 4 points off the play off places and 7 from the relegation spots!
