Heighway is just a after dinner speaker on the circuit, not the next man for Ireland! Like you said Honeymonster, 10 million bucks, if they are saving it for a rainy day, its absolute thunderstorms outside so dig deep!

Heighway did an awesome job at Liverpool for years (bringing through the likes of Fowler, Gerrard, Owen, Carragher & Co) and winning 2 English FA youth cups so he is much more than after dinner speaker having said that his expertise is youth football a bit like Brian Kerr rather than international so nice idea but probably a no for me.

Nobody is goin to come as a number 2.
 
Stan is here till the end of his 4 years at least. So we may get used to it.
 
Maybe not heighway then, but someone else who has a bit of quality about him

thorw them a few quid, + a big bonus if they qualify for the world cup/euros, at least theres an cash incentive there not just a learning incentive!!
These guys have qualified with different countris to numerous world cups so they know the formula as opposed to someone who filled water bottles and pumped footballs at walsall!

Bora .......are ye jokin.no way whatsoever should he be allowed near Ireland never mind the team.I see he got costa rica there....pity he took over in 1990.got usa there aswell.were they not hosting it in 1994...
 
Troussier would be a decent shout but he wouldnt be asked by fai.
Beenhaker would be quality but he will be staying at poland
