He can give it to both sides but he is a unionist and his leanings definitely come across at times. He tv show is one big party political broadcast for the TUV. He has Jim Allister on it every fooking week it seems. He is an absolute dinosaur and Nolan knows it and loves him. Nolan and the BelTel are the biggest sh*t stirrers. They just stir up bile and hatred to make money.

There's been a running joke also about how often he has Allister as well as Jamie Bryson on his weekday morning radio show on BBC Radio Ulster.   Don't know if that's still true as I stopped listening to it years ago.

For those unfamiliar with him, Nolan is a ‘ shock jock ‘ style radio and tv presenter ( in the tradition of Jerry Springer, Rush Lambaugh, Jeremy Vine, etc ) whose shows normally descend into staged shoutfests. He has plants in the tv audiences and staff on the radio show contacting known morons and belligerent slabbers to contribute and stir it up. Politically, his sympathies are extreme unionist and the likes of Jim Allister, Jamie Bryson, Jim Wells, Ian Paisley, Jim Wilson, David Campbell, etc are frequent guests. Sinn Fein and the SDLP boycott his shows due to his disgraceful treatment of them so he has never any nationalist/ Republican political representatives on. The BBC NI boss Adam Smyth does indeed have his back. Smyth’s mother Anne stood for the TUV in the last election, his father Clifford was a UUP representative and is a well known Orange historian. I do not know how much more dirt the Irish News has on Nolan but I hope it’s bucketloads, he deserves it 100%.
