                          Given
Finnan        Dunne       McShane      O'Shea (or no-one)
Hunt         Carsley      Ireland      Duff
              Doyle    Stokes

Tough call as I reckon McGeady and O'Dea should get the nod except Hunt did well when he came on.  ODea I would put in at left back instead of O'Shea but its  massive game and although hes muck hes got more experience and I think this will count for a lot for this game.

If the gaffer goes tactics mad again which could easily happen, I reckon he could start Duff up front again and get McGeady in there on the wing instead with Hunt.  I think they'll need to score goals as I cant see Slovakia not scoring against us

Finnan  Dunne  McShane   O'Dea

McGeady  Ireland Carsley   Hunt

            Doyle  Stokes/Connolly

long shouldnt get a sniff Don Quayballs.... he plays reserve football with Reading. Good player but need someone whose getting first team action leading from the front. As for Stokes? Connolly gets his game for Sunderland ahead of him and scores more goals!

                    Given,
Finnan, Mcshane, Dunne, (football cone)
Hunt, Ireland, Carsley, McGeady
      Duff                   Doyle

Would prefer to put Duff on the left but Hunt was the only bright spark in an absolutely piss poor game.

Wouldn't be suprised if Stan actually did pick a football cone at left back. Oh hold on he would probably play Finnan left back and the cone at right back..  Censored

Good call GerKeano but I reckon for the first time in years, Duff deserves his place in the next game. Everything else is spot on including the angry ant

                         Shaybo

Finnan        Dunne        McShane   O'Dea

McGeady/Hunt       Ireland     Carsley     Duff

                    Doyle          Connolly

Looking at this we all have the same/similar enough team. But knowing Staunton he'll make some mind boggling decision like playing Given up front and lead us to another humiliating defeat that'll send us even further down the world rankings. He's got to go now!

this absolute clown has again picked his mate Kevin Kilbane.
How the fuk can stan justify playing him again.
He is muck and warms the bench with Wigan.
Hunt is playing well and starts with Euro chasing Reading.
Where is the logic.
The picture of Stan and Kilbane smiling together and hugging each other after the match made me sick.
Fuk the clown out now

Republic of Ireland v Slovakia
Given, O'Shea, Dunne, McShane, Finnan, Carsley, Kilbane, Ireland, McGeady, Duff, Doyle

Whats the formation gonna be htere. 4-1-4-1 with carlsey sitting behind kilbane and Ireland in the middle or 4-4-2 with duff behing Doyle?
also he better hace swopped finnan and O'Sheas sides. Hes played finnan out of position against wales to compensate for O'Shea whos muck anyway!

Liam Miller is muck anyway and shouldnt be near the squad. Only hearing his name float about cause Roy is getting his throwing his tupences worth in at Stan an the media.

I'd even play O Shea before Miller in the Middle, thats how much I rate Miller!
